As part of its RootsTech 2023 offerings, MyHeritage is donating 5000 DNA kits to adoptees and family members searching for people who were adopted. Anyone who is over the age of 18 and meets that criteria is welcome to apply from now until 17 March 2023.

There is an e-petition on the Parliament of Australia website - here - to request that the Government fully fund Trove. The petition closes for signatures on 22 February 2023. NSW transcription agents, Joy Murrin and Marilyn Rowan, have reduced the cost of full transcriptions of births, deaths & marriages, at present.
Transcriptions will cost $18 instead of the usual $20. Marilyn's special applies until midnight on 2 January 2023. It is unclear how long Joy's special lasts.
