FindMyPast is currently allowing free access to its British newspapers. This special applies until midnight on Monday 28 October, which translates to 10 am on Tuesday, 29 October for us in NSW (or 9 am for Queensland).

The Guild of One Name Studies 2025 conference "Gateway to the World" is to be held from 25 April 2025 to 27 April 2025. This is to be a hybrid conference - both in-person and online for remote attendees.

The Queensland State Archives has advised that its ArchivesSearch will be offline this weekend while security improvements are implemented. It is planned to be back by 9am on Monday, 26 August 2024.

Full certificate (posted) with index quoted - GBP12.50 (an increase of GBP1.50)
PDF (births & deaths only) - GBP8.00 (an increase of GBP1.00)
Online view digital image (births & deaths only, restricted years) - GBP3.00 (an increase of GBP0.50)
For those ordered through our Research Room, fees will now be $25 (certificate), $16 (PDF) & $6 (digital image)
